Insect Choirs

A chorus of insects on the night air – it is one of those sounds that has lulled humans to sleep for millennia. A nocturnal choir, singing us to rest.

Whilst crickets and katydids create restful nightsounds, warm days bring out the hypnotic pulsing of cicadas.

Some of these albums focus exclusively on insect choirs, others may contain feature tracks, or insects heard strongly alongside other sounds.
